Bio-methane is produced through the anaerobic digestion of seaweed and other high-yielding marine crops, a natural process where microorganisms break down organic matter in the absence of oxygen. The resulting biogas is then purified using advanced membrane separation technology, removing impurities to create a high-quality, renewable gas that is chemically identical to natural gas. This makes it a direct, drop-in alternative for heating, cooking, and industrial energy—without the need to modify existing infrastructure. Our renewable diesel and petrol are produced by treating bio-oil derived from micro-algae with clean hydrogen in a process similar to hydroprocessing. This creates hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) and renewable petrol, which are then refined through distillation, just like their fossil-based counterparts. The result is a set of high-performance, biobased fuels that can be used in existing engines and infrastructure—no modifications needed. These fuels are a direct, low-carbon alternative to conventional diesel and petrol, offering a practical path to decarbonising transport, logistics, and machinery without disrupting current systems.
